数百人 without stable housing converged on 萨克拉门托 State’s Folsom Hall 周六, looking for relief from the stresses of the streets for just a few hours, 和 possibly forever. 

他们来 通过 脚, 巴士, 自行车 to Homeless Connect, a daylong event 这 offered 成员s of the city’s homeless population a chance to relax, enjoy a meal, shower, get a haircut, 和 获得 basic medical care while connecting to critical services 帮助他们离开街头。

“This event recognizes 这 no matter who we are in this world, we all deserve dignity,” he said. “It’s the kind of work 这 we absolutely should be doing as human beings on this earth.”
