More than 22% of 囊状态’s students identify as Asian American Pacific Islander. The University’s Full Circle Project, an academic support and leadership program for those students led by Ethnic Studies Professor Timothy Fong, has become a national model for student success.

囊状态’s graduation rates have risen for six straight years, including dramatic increases for AANHPI students. The campus 最近开了一个文化中心 to help those students explore their identities and histories, address health and wellness, and assist them in their academic and career paths.

The University’s efforts to close equity gaps, improve graduation rates, and help students of all backgrounds feel comfortable and welcomed “made 萨克拉门托 State the obvious choice” to lead the new center, President Robert S. Nelsen said.

囊状态’s four-year graduation rate has soared from about 9% in 2016 to more than 28% last year. 所有学生的毕业成绩都有所提高，包括亚裔美国学生。
